About Me

H3M stands for "Helpers for Miracle Marrow Matches." We are a group of high school students. Our mission is to help patients suffering from leukemia and other blood-related diseases to successfully find a matching marrow donor. We volunteer for a nonprofit organization called Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches (A3M) by going on donor drives, raising awareness, and fundraising. We educate people who are interested in marrow donation and guide them through the registration process. We raise awareness by making videos and handing out flyers. Our club fundraises for patients by hosting garage sales, selling items at school carnivals, and recycling. Recycling is our main fundraising activity. Our club collects recyclables and takes them to the recycling center once a month. On the days we recycle, we usually gather afterwards to prepare swab kits and registration forms for the donor drives.

Flea Market (Jang tuh) 1/25-1/26

This Saturday and Sunday a flea market will take place at 940 S Western Avenue 90006
from 11-5pm on both days. We will have a donor drive so please come volunteer!

1/18/14 Recycling

The first recycling of the year went well.
We earned around $20.40. Let's all thank Yeon Soo Shin, Jane Jeong, Jasmin Jin, and myself for helping out.

Asianex Event

12/21 Event Drives!!!!! KYCC Holiday event & Azianex event

KYCC Holiday Event! 10-3pm
So this one is going to be at:
Wilshire Park Elementary School
4063 Ingraham Street
Los Angeles, CA 90005
USA
They're going to need at 1 or 2 Korean speakers so those who can speak Korean well, come on out and help out!

Azianex Event 11-7pm
This one is going to be at Madang Mall Courtyard (621 S. Western Ave. LA, CA 90005) Also at the same place as CGV movie theater
We're going to need alot of people at this event so I hope to many of you there!

H3M Garage Sale

Hello H3M members,

Thank you to everyone who helped out at H3M's annual garage sale at Sharing Love Bazaar. We earned a total of $276.43! As always, this money will be donated to Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches to help support patients with leukemia and other blood related diseases.
