About Me

H3M stands for "Helpers for Miracle Marrow Matches." We are a group of high school students. Our mission is to help patients suffering from leukemia and other blood-related diseases to successfully find a matching marrow donor. We volunteer for a nonprofit organization called Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches (A3M) by going on donor drives, raising awareness, and fundraising. We educate people who are interested in marrow donation and guide them through the registration process. We raise awareness by making videos and handing out flyers. Our club fundraises for patients by hosting garage sales, selling items at school carnivals, and recycling. Recycling is our main fundraising activity. Our club collects recyclables and takes them to the recycling center once a month. On the days we recycle, we usually gather afterwards to prepare swab kits and registration forms for the donor drives.

Halloween Carnival

Hi everyone! 
The Halloween Carnival at LACES Middle/High School was awesome! Although our club wasn't successful with the oreo truffles, the caramel apples sold pretty well (Only 4 leftover)! I know that next time we will do much better, and I want to thank all of you who helped out! Many of you put some hard effort into helping H3M and I am grateful to have all of you as a part of our club!

Halloween Carnival

LACES Halloween Carnival is coming up, and our club is selling once again!

This time we are selling Caramel Apples and Oreo Truffles (3 tickets) so...tell all your friends to come over and support H3M!
For those who have talked with me about donating items (napkins, plates, etc), remember to bring them to me BEFORE the carnival!

2011 Sharing Love Bazaar

Remember last year's 2010 Sharing Love Bazaar?
Well...
There is going to be another one this year, the 2011 Sharing Love Bazaar, and I reserved a booth for us, the H3M Club!
Same as last year, we will be having a garage sale AND a donor drive!!
So now is the time to start collecting items that we can sell!

You can bring in some of your own things OR find people willing to donate!
