About Me

H3M stands for "Helpers for Miracle Marrow Matches." We are a group of high school students. Our mission is to help patients suffering from leukemia and other blood-related diseases to successfully find a matching marrow donor. We volunteer for a nonprofit organization called Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches (A3M) by going on donor drives, raising awareness, and fundraising. We educate people who are interested in marrow donation and guide them through the registration process. We raise awareness by making videos and handing out flyers. Our club fundraises for patients by hosting garage sales, selling items at school carnivals, and recycling. Recycling is our main fundraising activity. Our club collects recyclables and takes them to the recycling center once a month. On the days we recycle, we usually gather afterwards to prepare swab kits and registration forms for the donor drives.

Successful May Recycling!

Hi guys!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Chelsea, Esther, Crystal, Danny, Taehoon, Kenneth, Diana, and Young for helping out on Friday for May recycling.
We earned $42 and prepared 200 envelopes/swabs!
Great job guys, keep up the good work and continue collecting empty bottles and cans!!

May Recycling

Hi everyone! Hope you've had a nice day..(:
This is a reminder for this month's recycling!
We will be meeting at the same location as always, 3rd and labrea (recycling center)!! But this time, we will be meeting on a FRIDAY not a saturday. So come and help out - bring your recyclables on MAY 20TH!! :D We will be meeting at the recycling center at 4.
We will also be preparing SWAB KITS! yayyyyyy :D I know you guys love those, so be sure to come!

And for those of you who have AP testing the next day, I understand that your schedule might be a little too tight, but please still try to come and help out in the morning or as much as you can. Remember, you don't have to stay the whole time! :)
