About Me

H3M stands for "Helpers for Miracle Marrow Matches." We are a group of high school students. Our mission is to help patients suffering from leukemia and other blood-related diseases to successfully find a matching marrow donor. We volunteer for a nonprofit organization called Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches (A3M) by going on donor drives, raising awareness, and fundraising. We educate people who are interested in marrow donation and guide them through the registration process. We raise awareness by making videos and handing out flyers. Our club fundraises for patients by hosting garage sales, selling items at school carnivals, and recycling. Recycling is our main fundraising activity. Our club collects recyclables and takes them to the recycling center once a month. On the days we recycle, we usually gather afterwards to prepare swab kits and registration forms for the donor drives.

February Recycling

Thanks to William Kwon, Taehoon Kim, Kenneth Kim, Diana Kim, Chelsea Kim, Elizabeth Kim, Danny Suh, Yvette Kim, and Esther Cho for helping out today!

We earned a total of $19 for recycling, prepared 200 envelopes, and highlighted a bunch of registration forms! Good job, guys!

& Also, don't forget to sign up online for the volunteer hours record!

H3M CLUB ICE CREAM EVENT

Hello LACES H3M Club Members!

Do you want free ice cream?
Here's what you have to do: Just bring 1 friend to join our club!
They must be involved in our club meetings and community service activities. So, don't just bring a friend for one day and expect to get ice cream! :)
If you bring a friend who joins our club and continues to help out, BOTH you and your friend will get free ICE CREAM!
This event starts from March 3rd (our next club meeting held at school) and will go on until the end of March.

Recycling

HI EVERYONE! :D


Here is the schedule for our next RECYCLING day:

Saturday, February 26th @ 3:00 pm
Location: Recycling Center on 3rd & La brea (backside of Ralphs parking lot)

Bring your recyclables and remember: Don't crush your bottles and cans!
& I need to know who will be there so please comment and tell me if you would like to help out!
